- Lavezzi is out of contract this summer, and Inter are favourites to sign him
- But player's agent revealed that Chelsea and Barcelona also in the frame
Representatives of Paris St Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi hope to hold talks with Chelsea on Thursday.
The 30-year-old’s contract expires in the summer and he is available on a free transfer.
Inter
Milan are favourites for the Argentina international but Alessandro
Moggi, who works alongside Lavezzi’s agent Alejandro Mazzoni, said that
there were also conversations happening with the west London club
Ezequiel Lavezzi has been on the fringes of the PSG team this season, and could leave for free this summer
'Inter are the most interested team at the moment,' said Moggi. 'There
was interest from Barcelona and Chelsea, and we’re talking with the
Blues.
'I
can’t rule out him only leaving Paris at the end of the season though,
as Paris Saint-Germain have expressed an interest in keeping him.'
The
striker has only managed two goals so far this season for his club,
both coming late on in big wins for the French champions.
He has only started three times in Ligue 1 this season, with the majority of his appearances coming off the bench.
Last
year he played a peripheral role as PSG retained the title, scoring
nine times in all competitions, but rarely playing in his preferred
central role.
Lavezzi has scored against Chelsea in the past, and his representatives hope to talk to the London club
