Following the dismissal of his Appeal challenging his trial by the Code of Conduct Tribunal,Nigeria’s Senate President, Bukola Saraki has stated that he will head to the Supreme Court in search of justice. This was made known by Saraki’s lead lawyer, Mohammed Mogaji. He revealed that Senator Saraki would file a further appeal at the Supreme Court. Saraki wanted the appellate court stop his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, where he has been charged on 13-counts with false asset declaration. The judges  ruled that the Code of Conduct Tribunal has powers to issue a bench warrant.The court also dismissed all 5 issues raised by Saraki in the appeal.

A TRUE LIFE STORY   A woman was pregnant of her second child. During the pregnancy, the sister-in-law(the elder sister of her husband) told her to her face, "if you happen to deliver, you will be sweeping the hospital because you won't be able to come back." When her labour started, the husband took her to the hospital by himself and promised to come back shortly. She was in labour till night and the husband had not showed up as he promised neither did he call her to know of he r welfare. Towards evening the management of the hospital told her that they want to transfer her to another hospital that they can't handle her case. In response, she told them to wait till her pastor comes. With that, she put a call through to me, but I told her we'll come to see her after the service that evening(becausewe had bible study that evening).

At least 11 people, mostly children, have drowned after a refugee boat carrying more than 240 migrants capsized near the island of Lesbos on Wednesday, October 28. More than 200 were rescued, three bodies recovered and 38 people are believed to be still missing.
